Privacy policy
This explains what information MyAIClerk uses and why. MyAIClerk is run by Kasinath Upadhyayula, SM14, Saket Mithila, Near Vorla Laxma Reddy Gardens, Kapra Post, Hyderabad 500062, Telangana, India.
What stays on your phone
The entries you record (amounts, dates, notes, customer names in your credit book) are stored in your phone’s browser. We do not receive or keep them. They only leave your phone if you choose to send a backup, for example on WhatsApp.
What our service stores
- Your customer code and the dates of your free trial and payments.
- Your plan (Individual or Shop) and subscription status.
- A random device identifier, so one customer code works on one phone.
- How many pages you have scanned this month.
- An optional label we may add to your account, such as your shop’s name, to help us support you.
We do not collect your name, phone number or email address in the app. If you message us for support, we see the number or email you contact us from.
Payments
Payments are handled by Razorpay. We do not see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Razorpay tells us whether your subscription is active, and which plan.
Voice
When you speak, your browser’s speech recognition converts the audio to text. In Chrome this is done by Google’s speech service, so your voice is sent to Google for that purpose. We do not receive or keep the audio.
Page scanning
When you scan a page, the photo is sent through our service to an AI reading service (Sarvam AI) which returns the text. We do not keep a copy of the photo or the text. Sarvam AI handles the image under its own policy.
Where the service runs
The website and service run on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may keep standard technical logs such as IP addresses for security and reliability.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The app uses your browser’s local storage to keep your entries and settings on your phone.
Your choices
- You can erase your entries any time with Erase all in the Backup tab.
- To have your customer record deleted, contact us and we will remove it. Your access will then end.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above.
